When Abby went to School she was playing tiggy with her friends and when school finishes the teacher said don’t forget the newsletter and then she went home. When she ran home she said I have a school trip and she rushed straight threw the door and when her mum read the newsletter.
When her mum read the newsletter, the newsletter said the bus cost only $40 and then her mum flipped out and when she got up she walked up to the window, she looked out the window for a minute. When her aunty Noa helped, she was selling milk and it was $10 EACH and they raised $40 for the trip to rotorua.

My BMX Story
There was a teenager named Tau riding on a BMX bike. He entered the BMX Championships. When he hit a ramp, he was flying in the air doing a front flip. It was a successful landing and his friends were shocked, cheering for him.
When he was just about to hit the half pipe he did his signature move the mctwist 360. When Tau did the mctwist 360 he nearly tumbled. Then he moved to the finals.
He was called up next and he was feeling shy. He was racing down the track and his front wheel broke. His friends said you tried your best.

It was are hard run because there are we had to run to the reserve. Finally making it up to the concrete feeling a little bit exhausted. There were puddles right in front me, running through it made me get wet.There were more and more puddles until the the course had smaller space in the run.
Today I had to choose a pet. My dad bought me a dragon for my birthday. Although it was a cool present, I didn't ask for it. My dad was a dragon trainer and that is why he bought me a dragon. This particular dragon was a friendly dragon, the best in the world.
Happiness and gladness filled my face as I flew through the sky on my new dragon pet.The next day my pet and I got ready for another trip towards the sky. Hungriness and starvation filled my guts.
Luckily I had been prepared with food and everything. Flying towards the sky I started to get airsick, then turned back home. When I went home I told my dad that I was airsick.
Sadly my dragon died at the age of 60. That goes the end of my adventure with my favourite dragon. All those years I had with him, loved him, cared for him like a brother and I knew it wasn't going to be that long for my pet. The end of my birthday present.
His father ran a grocery business. His mother was an opera singer. April 1st 1851 he entered Le Harve secondary school of arts. When in paris he saw other painters copying their masters works but he would sit by the window and paint what he saw.
In paris he met other young painters who became friends and fellow impressionists. He was influenced by Eugene Boudin, Jonah Jongkind and Goustave courvet. Boudin taught him how to use oils as well as outdoor painting techniques.

Art Alive
ART ALIVE
This Term we are learning about ART ALIVE. In Art Alive we can paint and make it look like it was painted by a famous artist. We are looking at artist around the world. Picasso, Matisse, Monet, Van Gogh and a New Zealand artist, Danielle Hulme. The First artist I learnt about was Vincent Van Gogh. I learn his name because when we were in room 22 and we had to paint the sunflower..

Vincent Van Gogh
Vincent Van Gogh was born 1853 30th of March and past away July 29th 1890. He was a Dutch painter who was notable for its rough beauty, emotional honesty, and bold colour. After years of painful anxiety and frequent bouts of mental illness, he died at the age of 37 by shooting himself. Van Gogh only sold one painting when he was alive worth around about 500 dollars.
Van Gogh started drawing from when he was a child, and he continued to draw throughout the years that led up to his decision to become an artist. He did not begin painting until his late twenties, completing many of his best-known works during the last two years of his life. In just over a decade, he produced more than 2,100 artworks, consisting of 860 oil paintings and more than 1,300 watercolors. Drawings, sketches and prints, His work included self portraits, landscapes, flowers, portraits and paintings of cypresses, wheat fields and sunflowers.

What to drink for me
My favourite drink to give me a up and go to keep me moving. I love Coffee because it makes me stay up all night and it is yummy. Hot sweet Coffee.
I like drinking tea because it is yummy. I drink tea because when I come home I drink tea. Hot sweet cup of tea yummy tea is so good that i only have 7 cups of tea.

Treaty of waitangi
In the Treaty of Waitangi when all the first European swapped there muskets for food from the Maori. They swaped there guns for food and when the maori the those muskets they took over the other tribes. Then all of the tribes started to get muskets and there was war every were. then the treaty of waitangi was made over fourty men. signed it and it was about protection,partnership and participation. after that there were no wars and no muskets.
