My holiday

This morning we had 40 minutes
to write about anything we wanted. from this we are going
to set my writing goal for the term. Here is what wrote.

In the finished of term 3 I went at 1:00PM for youth. As I went to youth they asked if I was scared of heights then I said no and then I ask why.

After I finally found out that my youth group and I was going to rocket ropes then we had Instruction about putting the safety stuff on. Then we got started on it and it was my turn and when I got on I look down then I got scared.

Once I finished the course we went to carl's jr as we got there we all brought superstar for dinner and a drink. Then I went home then my youth teacher was talking to my nan.

My goal for this week is to write properly.

Jayden,Billy,Lukis Martin Luther King

P1:  This week marks the 50th anniversary of the I have a dream speech by Martin Luther King. On August 1963 in Washington DC, underneath the statue of Abraham Lincoln was where he made his remarkable speech. He gave this speech because he was fighting for racial equality so that some day the blacks and whites would live in peace fairly.

P2: Martin Luther King was born on January 15th 1929. He was a lawyer and was also a minister. But his main focus was to end segregation. Some whites didn’t want things to change so made life difficult for Martin Luther King. He even got stabbed but he managed to recover. Then a few days after  his house got bombed. One day something terrible happened. He got assassinated. He had fought for civil rights because there was no peace between white and black but he paid the ultimate price.

P3: Back in those days In America it was difficult for the black because the were discriminated against. The black people were segregated. They couldn't sit at the front of the bus or if the was not enough seats for the whites they had to move to the back. Thats why one day Rosa Park confronted the white bus driver saying that she would not go to the back. So what happened was she had to go to jail.

P4: Martin luther King was a good man because he wanted peaceful demonstrations he didn’t want violence. Black people boycotted the busses so the bus company lost lots of money. They all did it until the bus company changed the rules of the busses so the blacks could sit anywhere on the bus. Martin Luther King was an inspiration because he helped black people get what they wanted.

Coming Back To School

This morning when I got up I felt sick putting my school uniform on. When I got up and got changed, I had to make breakfast for my brothers and sisters and cousins. Then I put my shoes on and went to school. When I got to school I was nervous because of people asking me why didn’t you come to school. But it is good to come back to school because I missed working on my netbook and doing maths. Oh it was good to be back but when we went to tech to do graphics we had to do shading.I found graphics was boring because it was easy because I didn’t found it challenging.

playing touch

I was running towards the try line with passion and a rugby ball passing everyone around me. Our classroom was playing touch and I was going to score the first try. When I ran passed the try line and pIaced the ball down, I  felt so proud. I ran back feeling confident and went to join the line, just as I was about too my foot sunk in a hole. Suddenly my whole body hit the floor- wack! I twisted my ankle it was pain foul I couldn't walk for 2 days.
